I have decided that golf is the "anti-sport".
This weekend I had my first experience of a golf tournament. Thanks to a friend who had a couple extra tickets, Bryan and I packed up only ourselves (mobile phones and handbags larger than a wallet were not allowed) and took a shuttle to Quail Hollow Country Club to watch Saturday's Wachovia Championship. I was a beautiful day and we had a lovely time walking around and watching grown men play glorified putt-putt. Here's the thing I just don't get - how do they get tens of thousands of people be so quiet? It was amazing!
In two weeks I'm trying out another new sport. Here's a hint: I've been given tickets to an event at Lowe's Motor Speedway. (I'm scared!)
