I just returned from another doctor's appointment. I'm seeing a new doctor now because my regular doctor's wife if very ill and he is out of the office indefinitely. This week marks the time that I start going to the doctor on a weekly basis which means we're getting closer!
No big news to report - my blood pressure is good. I haven't begun dialating any to speak of, so I'm probably in this thing for the long haul and doubt I'll be delivering early. She did say that he's sitting pretty low and in the head down position, so he most likely won't perform any acrobatics before he's born.
Size Update: Baby Pear is the size of a Honeydew Melon!

It's mind-boggling that I'm only 7 weeks away! On the one hand it seems like I still have to wait almost two whole months to meet our little boy. And on the other hand it seems like he'll be born before I know it (or I'm ready)! He's still been seriously active - I thought his activity level should be slowing down by now, but that isn't the case yet! While we were in Charleston for the 4th of July holiday, every morning when I woke up he had the hiccups which is very cute. Sometimes he makes such sudden, massive movements that it takes my breath away or makes me shout a little.
Size update: Baby Pear is the shape/size of a pineapple!
