Bottle Time
Over the past couple of weeks Camden has become a pro at taking a bottle which has been great for me because I was able to leave the feeding to B and go out for a night on the town Grandma R on Friday! We had a nice dinner at the McCormick & Schmicks famous "Happy Hour" with the boys, then we went to see Mother Load at Blumenthal PAC and thoroughly enjoyed laughing at all of the things that I am going through right now as a new mom.
Even though I did miss my baby during the show, I was a good sport and only texted B to see how he was doing 2 times during the show. I promise, I'll let go of control by the time Camden finishes college. Scout's honor.

Trip to Charleston
Yesterday we traveled down to Charleston, SC to celebrate with Mount Zion AME Church on the occasion of their 126th anniversary. We couldn't let a trip to Charleston pass with out showing Camden the beach where his parents were engaged three years ago!

Uncle Jimmy spent time with Camden all afternoon while Bryan, Granddaddy R and I worked on making snow in our front yard.

See, I wasn't kidding about the snow! Actually, it's roll out grass seed that will hopefully turn into grass soon because our yard looks a little odd...

Uncle Jimmy was explaining goverment and the voting process to a very captivated audience.

First AlmostGold tailgate
Grandma R also came to the tailgate, but I have a feeling it was more about seeing Cam then it was about football...

Back to work
Today was my first day back at work. Camden had a blast - he slept and ate and slept. Sounds exciting, eh? Although I'm quite thankful for the time off to concentrate on learning about Camden, I'm also very glad to be back at work. I missed it.
You can tell who does the real work around here!

Mind Bend
If you had purchased $1,000.00 of AIG stock one year ago you would have $44.34 left.
With Wachovia, you would have had $54.74 left of the original $1,000.00.
With Lehman, you would have had $0.00 left.
But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago…drank all of the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you would have $214.00 cash
